Medicine is my day job, and I love it! I have the privilege of caring for people, listening to their stories, and doing what I can to make life a little easier in difficult moments.

Writing is where I wander. It is where I ask questions, notice the small things, and make sense of the lives I encounter along the way.

As a doctor who believes in narrative medicine, I am drawn to the people I meet, their struggles, their joys, their quiet transitions, and the stories they carry behind their eyes.

As Anton Chekhov once said, medicine is my lawful wife, and literature is my mistress.
