This is me!
Hi, my name is Ticia and I’m always wondering…
Medicine is my day job and I love it! I have the privilege of caring for people, listening to their stories, and doing what I can to make life a little easier in difficult moments.
Writing is where I wander. It is where I ask questions, notice the small things, and make sense of the lives I meet along the way.
As a doctor who believes in Narrative Medicine, I am curious about the people I meet; their struggles, their joys, their quiet transitions, and the stories they carry behind their eyes. On this blog, I write about human stories and quiet transitions like birth and becoming, about films and books that mirror our lives, about digital health and the fight against cancer, a cause close to my heart. And sometimes, I simply write about whatever I fancy!
As Anton Chekhov said, medicine is my lawful wife, and literature is my mistress.
This space is where the two meet.
Thanks for being here! I hope you find something that stays with you.
